Next Move was recently awarded a $25,000 grant from Safelite AutoGlass to renovate a new shelter facility in Sacramento.

For over a year, this property has been vacant due to the inability to comply with costly city code standards and facilities improvements. With the Safelite grant, Next Move will be able to bring the property up to code, enabling the organization to provide housing for 8 families per year.

The legacy of the upgrade of this facility will live on to help hundreds of families in the future, not only with shelter but with additional life skills services, success plans, job training and intensive case management.
