Doni is passionate about using business to solve social challenges and currently serves as Executive VP of Business Operations at The Better Meat Co., creating sustainable protein alternatives. Previously, she spent nearly a decade as VP of Operations at Goodwill Industries, helping disadvantaged individuals achieve self-sufficiency. She holds an MBA from California State University, mentors women facing homelessness, serves on nonprofit boards, hikes with her fiancé and their dog Penny Lane, and loves The Beatles.

Doug Bayless

Vice Chair

Doug has worked as a real estate broker and developer entitling projects since 1985 here in Sacramento. His specialty is residential development projects. He works with apartment developers, including those specializing in affordable housing, and single family home builders. He estimates that over his career, he has sold land and lots approved for 30,000 or more units.

He raised his family (4 children) here in Sacramento and they all still live in the area. He has coached decades of children’s sports, served on the school board of a local parochial school, served on a food bank board, Next Move and Goodwill boards.
